We have been super busy at FSK. Time to let you in on what is going on for the first quarter of 2010. Working on multiple titles, working with new artist,review show, in other words a lot. We wanted to touch base with the readers of our Komic Line to just catch up and update.

First off issue 4 of Hotshot has been pushed back till Feb 2010. It looks amazing and it will be great when totally done but honestly it just has taken us longer than expected. It took a a while to find the right person to fill the inking job permanently but we have found a fantastic young artist named Jeriel Burton. With Jeriel Burton coming on board to join Victor, Michael, and Ryan, he has filled the void of the missing inker that was very much needed. We also have Brian Latimer(thanks for the assist) from Studio Akumakaze doing a few pages in this issue as a fill in inker and Matt Keltner with a page of inks in this issue as well. We wish Matt the best in his new komic endeavors and thank you so much for the awesome work he brought to Hotshot. So expect Hotshot 4 to be out at the end of the month. Michael Watson dabbled in the inking world helping Brian Latimer on a book called VictorII.


Mr Burton has been working so hard we caught him taking a nap after pulling an all nighter.. Mike, Vic, Ryan and Jeriel will be taking over full duties on the 34 page conclusion to a Heroes Welcome in issue 5 of Hotshot. Due out in April in time for the S.P.A.C.E convention in Columbus, Ohio.

We still have David Brame,Ethan Murphy, and Phil Carter on Emerald Quest #1 due out in April as well. This is coming together wonderfully and will add great variety to Freestyle Komics. This is an epic of magic, swords, dragons, and so much more. It is not your typical story and we will be releasing sneak peaks of the awesome work form David and Phil very soon. Freestyle Komics will be working with Mutant Cactus on a everything that is cool review show. It will be called The Angry Spoiler Alert. We are very excited about this and looking to have reviews of movies, video games, komics, and electronics. Stay tuned for the website and the launch date coming soon

Victor Dandridge and Michael Watson will be taking on the brand new komic strip to be released on the blogsite featuring the powerhouse Vigilance. She has been in and out of the Hotshot komic and this will be your chance to get to know her better. We are gonna take a closer look at her character, who she is and a look into her history. The komic strip series will be collected in a one shot issue to be released mid year. In that one shot will be the conclusion to this special one shot. So you will have to keep up with the weekly strip and then get the collection to find out the whole story. Vigilance komic strip starts in March 2010 on www.freestylekomics.blogspot.com

On Fridays FSK starting doing Freestyle Fridays. These guys love real Hip Hop and love to spit hot fire. During an action photo shoot they started to throw rhymes and we put it on video. Welcome to a fun time between the FSK Crew, Vic D, and MWATTS of Freestyle Komics. The writer and Artist take the name of the company to heart and bust serious flows in the basement of FSK studio. Showing that FSK has Hip Hop influences they take to lyrical metaphors. Stay tuned they plan on doing this one a month. We are looking to get other artist, writers, and creators in on the verbal swordplay. Check the blogsite for the videos. This is just fun times and we welcome all artist, writers or creators to come flex the verbal muscle with us, so get a hold of us please.
