The Turtles 2010

Okay so this is it. The full blown teaser to get you all excited about the turtles that my friends and I are working on. We will give updates about the project but this is the last full size image we will post up. So I hope you like it because we are super siked.




Stage 1- was Jeriel Burton laying out all four turtles for us. He picked the viewpoint and the basic position for the turtles

Stage 2- we each draw a different Turtle in our style

Stage 3- we swap off each others lines and Ink each others turtles.

Stage 4- Colors

Stage 5- Finishes

This is an experiment between 4 artists who all attending Columbus College of Art and Design(CCAD). We all love the Turtles, heck who doesn't? We are trading off between one another at different stages while still doing a complete series of Turtle pieces.
We will be collecting all of our Turtles pieces together, along with favorites like Usagi Yojimbo, Casey Jones, Splinter, Shredder and April O'neal. There will be a collection of 30 Turtle prints plus all the concept work, sketches.
